Coronation Celebration

πŸ‘‘ CORONATION CELEBRATION πŸŽ‰ THIS FRIDAY πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

We will be celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III 🀴🏻 in school on Friday.

We are asking  the children to come to school dressed in red, white and blue. β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’™Of course, if they wish to dress up as Royals  πŸ€΄πŸ»πŸ‘Έthat's absolutely fine too.

As we are making crowns πŸ‘‘ in the morning it would be helpful if parents could send in beads πŸ’Žand feathers πŸͺΆ etc. to help decorate the crowns.

The children should ALL bring a packed lunch 🍱 on Friday - any paid meals will be carried forward to next week.

Our plan of action:

Short assembly

PowerPoint explaining the Coronation

Classroom activities

Ice cream 🍨 at break provided by PTA

Games outside or in classrooms depending on the weather

Picnic lunch ( if you have a picnic rug to spare that would be helpful)

Afternoon Making a class display

Presentation of commemorative badge (PTA)

Presentation of a commemorative booklet provided by Youth Ministries. If you do not wish your child to receive this book πŸ“– please let your child's teacher know.

Presentation. of commemorative certificates provided by Jim Shannon MP
