Coronation Celebration
π CORONATION CELEBRATION π THIS FRIDAY π¬π§
We will be celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III π€΄π» in school on Friday.
We are asking the children to come to school dressed in red, white and blue. β€οΈπ€πOf course, if they wish to dress up as Royals π€΄π»πΈthat's absolutely fine too.
As we are making crowns π in the morning it would be helpful if parents could send in beads πand feathers πͺΆ etc. to help decorate the crowns.
The children should ALL bring a packed lunch π± on Friday - any paid meals will be carried forward to next week.
Our plan of action:
Short assembly
PowerPoint explaining the Coronation
Classroom activities
Ice cream π¨ at break provided by PTA
Games outside or in classrooms depending on the weather
Picnic lunch ( if you have a picnic rug to spare that would be helpful)
Afternoon Making a class display
Presentation of commemorative badge (PTA)
Presentation of a commemorative booklet provided by Youth Ministries. If you do not wish your child to receive this book π please let your child's teacher know.
Presentation. of commemorative certificates provided by Jim Shannon MP
