Moneyrea Primary and Nursery School serves the village of Moneyreagh and surrounding areas including: Ballygowan, Carryduff, Crossnacreevy, Ryan Park and further afield.

Our school is an inclusive, ‘family school’, where we 'learn together, respect and care for one another’. Our dedicated staff team provide a challenging curriculum for all of our pupils, with particular emphasis on the key learning areas of: Literacy, Numeracy, PE and Sport, The Arts, The World Around Us, PDMU and Information and Communications Technology.

Moneyrea is a happy, vibrant school, where we encourage our pupils to reach their potential in all aspects of their lives.

Children are at the heart of Moneyrea and a caring ethos pervades all that we do. We work hard to ensure that our pupils feel good about themselves, and attach great importance to their personal and social development. We encourage them to build positive relationships with their peers and to be courteous, considerate and sensitive to the feelings of others.
