In assembly we spoke about how we all at sometime are not happy about who we are, how we look, or our skills and talents.

Children are constantly bombarded with messages about what is beauty, what is success, what is important and how they need to become like someone else.

We reminded the children using self-affirming statements that they are ALL special, but not more special than anyone else.

I am KIND

I am TRUTHFUL

I am BRAVE

I am CREATIVE

I am SMART

I am POWERFUL

I am HELPFUL

I am IMAGINATIVE

I am LOVED

I am IMPORTANT
